resent news

An exhibition of Alex's work as a courtroom sketch artist took place at the CBC's open house celebrations in Toronto on October 1, 2011. Visitors had a chance to view an exhibition of Alex's courtroom sketches and to wach a demo reel of the CBC's news programming augmented by Alex's illustrations.

Alex started a weekly cartoon blog at http://http://weeklycartoon.blogspot.com. Every week a new cartoon or a humorous animated clip will be posted on the blog.

Alex opened a fine art shop at http://alex-tavshunsky.artistwebsites.com . Giclee prints of his art works are available in sizes ranging from 6" by 8" to 45" by 60". Print options include greeting cards, framed prints and prints on canvas.

Alex illustrated the Colonel Russell Williams trial from the first appearance to the 4-day sentencing proceeding in Belleville - www.tavshunsky.com/williams.html . All major Canadian and International Media used Alex's sketches of Williams' trial. Currently, the news magazine "Zone Interdite" on "French TV Channel M6" is using Alex's illustrations to produce a documentary series about the trial. More news to come.
